On April 19, the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) presented the "TOP Training Company 2023" award to 27 companies from southern Saxony-Anhalt.
For the first time, MUEG Mitteldeutsche Umwelt- und Entsorgung GmbH was awarded this seal of quality - a trophy and certificate - for its commitment to vocational training.
The "TOP- Ausbildungsbetrieb" seal stands for special quality in vocational training as well as in the recruitment and support of trainees, young people and junior staff.
In the training of our future skilled workers in both the commercial and industrial-technical areas, we place particular emphasis on the intensive teaching of practical skills in a wide range of company areas, in addition to the teaching of knowledge at school. This also includes the independent assumption of project tasks under the guidance of the trainers and specialists, which ultimately leads to an intensive identification with the company.
To improve the quality of the training, regular joint workshops and seminars are held, and to teach the basic skills, specialized training and intensive exam preparation of our trainees, we work closely with educational institutions and conduct the specialized training courses at their facilities.
MUEG is also responding at an early stage to the increasingly difficult situation of recruiting trainees. For example, the company cooperates at various locations with regional secondary schools and high schools, for example in Braunsbedra, Mücheln, Merseburg and Borna (Saxony). MUEG is also present at regional career guidance fairs. Interested students are also welcome to apply for vacation internships and vacation jobs via the company website in order to become acquainted with various apprenticeships.
