Production of Concrete blocks shows promising results

In an innovative trial, the MUEG team is successfully testing the production of its own Concrete blocks.

Concrete blocks are robust concrete elements that find very versatile use, e.g. in the construction of bulk boxes or partition walls. The aim of the trials is to both conserve natural resources and save CO2 by using 100% recycled aggregates and alternative binders.
In addition to the selection of suitable mineral recyclates and binders, the existing normative requirements for such concrete elements must also be taken into account in the context of quality assurance when creating possible formulations. The results of our tests show that the Concrete blocks can be produced not only in an environmentally friendly way, but also in high quality, says project manager Jens Dubiel.
We are thus confident that we will be able to offer our customers the new products in a timely manner.
