The necessary application documents for the ongoing planning supplement/amendment procedure for the mineral landfill at the Profen site in southern Saxony-Anhalt on the border with Saxony are currently being prepared for submission to the responsible authority in the Burgenland district. The landfill, with an area of approx. 32 ha, is intended for the disposal of non-hazardous mineral waste from the construction industry as well as non-hazardous incineration residues such as ash and slag.
The landfill ensures safe disposal in the region in accordance with legal requirements.
For the environmental impact assessment (EIA), supplementary studies have been prepared with regard to the environmental and nature conservation impacts.
Information on the progress of the supplementary planning/plan amendment procedure will be provided on an ongoing basis.
